PARTNERSHIP FOR MENTAL HEALTH

CEI-PEA is partnering with Bronx Lebanon Hospital to increase mental health services to students in selected schools in the Bronx. The program surveys parents and students in 39 Bronx elementary, middle and high schools, which collectively serve over 39,000 students. The surveys are used to help determine which schools and communities have mental health needs. Schools can also directly identify students who are in need of those services. Once students are identified, services can be provided to them at the school or at one of the hospital’s facilities.

CEI-PEA serves as a liaison between the hospital and the schools to help engage parents and students in the project.
