Pre-Kindergarten
Mae Fong began her educational career as a student teacher at Stuyvesant High School in 1970, moving quickly into a position as a Teacher and District Science Coordinator at Ditmas Junior High School. In 1985, she took a position as an Assistant Principal at George J. Ryan Junior High School. In 1991, she took a Principal position at Louis Pasteur Middle School where she remained until 2004. Her professional accomplishments include working as an Adjunct Professor at The Summer Principals’ Academy and Supervisory Intern Coach at Columbia University’s Teachers College, Facilitator/Group Leader at The Principals' Center and Star Factor Emotional Intelligence Coach for The Leadership Center at Hunter College. Mae serves as an Educational Consultant/ Principal Mentor for the CEI-PEA consortium of schools.
