Joe was an educator in the New York City school system for over 35 years. An accounting major from St. John’s University, Joe was the recipient of the prestigious Omicron Delta Epsilon award for outstanding work in Economics. After working for several years as an accountant with Arthur Anderson, Joe began his long career as an educator, predominately in middle schools. Joe served for 25 years as a UFT Chapter Leader and NYSUT Delegate, and his career focused on developing effective systems for administration, programming, budgeting and technology. Joe regularly trains school staff on ATS, My Galaxy, FAMIS, Fastrack, and Per Session Payrolls, and he has helped schools save hundreds of thousands of dollars through more effective budgeting.
